• Subject: Snowy landscapes have always been a source of inspiration for me and perfect places where I can lose myself and meditate. The cloudless night sky, the light of the full moon and the stars complete the picture, encircling trees, mountains, valleys, and the couple in love embracing near a small, improvised bonfire. An embrace within an embrace, human love admiring the universal love of which it is a part, remaining enchanted by it. In this painting, opposites complement each other: snow and fire, cold and heat, light, glow, reflections, and friendly darkness.
