• Subject: What pushed me, once again, to paint this canvas, is my love for life, harmony, and roundness: circles have no edges, they are cosy, like the womb of a pregnant woman. In the universe, space and time are ‘curved’ by gravity, the motion of our planet around the sun is elliptical. Cyclicity leads to predictability and, therefore, reassures us. The circles in this painting represent life, with its infinite  manifestations, and the trees in the centre are the opposing forces acting on matter, keeping creation in balance
• Frame: this painting comes with a customized, handcrafted frame. As you can see in the picture, it is thick, golden, irregular, like the bark of a tree
