Wine, for me, represents conviviality, and a way to relax with loved ones. The red, orange, and yellow colors of the painting emphasize the ‘warmth’ one is immersed in when savoring a glass of good red wine. But wine is also culture, tradition, art! The ivory black of the background and the cozy lights aimed at the ‘stage’ – a shiny surface from which the wine overflows – make the glass and the bottle the absolute protagonists of this painting, so elegant in their clothes of reflections and transparencies…
